Venezuelan-born Tiqui Atencio has been immersed in art since childhood, developing a reputation for her discerning taste and encyclopaedic knowledge of the art of the moment. She is a celebrated author three-times-over, inviting us into the homes of the world’s most accomplished artists, dealers and collectors. Now with For Art’s Sake: Selected Works by Tiqui Atencio & Ago Demirdjian, she and her husband Ago are passing the baton to a new generation of collectors.

This selection offers a glimpse into Tiqui’s journey, from her roots in Venezuela and her studies across continents to her fruitful collecting partnership with Ago, which began in Paris in the 1980s. Inspired by the world around them, Tiqui and Ago have cultivated a diverse selection of artworks that is both visionary and global in scope, ranging from Julie Mehretu and Franz West to Damien Hirst, Antony Gormley and Sarah Lucas.

The exciting series continues with 20th/21st Century Art auctions in London and New York through the end of 2025.
